This one seems big to me, 4 months old! 1/3 of her first year of life - wow it has gone by in a blink. Scarlett is rapidly changing each day and constantly showcasing one of her new skills.
Her stats as of 1/12 were:
Weight - 13lbs. 14oz. (70%)
Height - 24 inches (70%)

Oh the many faces of our Little Miss - she definitely has her daddy's serious side but boy does she wake up with a smile. She is making us work harder for her giggles - she likes new material. S is a gabber, loves to talk and talk - her Nana even got her singing yesterday.

She definitely has faces for when she is unsure, inquisitive, and oh the face she made when John and I tried to give her formula! We wanted to give it a try - oh she was having none of it and gave us a look like "don't think you can pull a fast one on me."

She is loving her newfound skills for moving. Our girl is rolling - being on the floor means she is flipping from her back to her tummy. Still not so sure about flipping back over to her back when she gets there but likes to repeat the move often. Being on her tummy has never been a favorite but last night after her bath she kept trying to roll over on her changing table so John helped her over. Boy did she love her tummy then - she looked at us with a look like "Hello, all I wanted was a little cushion for my belly and elbows stop putting me on the floor." It was classic.

Her arms and legs are in constant motion. She wants to sit up so bad. S is always doing what I refer to as the Pilates 100 - her little head/shoulders raised as high as she can along with her legs while laying down. Baby girl is working on her core! She still loves to be standing and pushing herself up from sitting to standing with our support. She is so enjoying her Johnny Jump - mainly just hanging so far.
Oh sleep, how I miss you! Our Christmas vacation really did a number on Scarlett's sleeping combined with what I am told was her 4 month sleep regression plus a growth spurt in height. Our little milk monster was up every 45 minutes eating or just needing some company for about 2 weeks. We are working on her learning how to put herself back to sleep after her intital 1/2 hour wakeup. I think crying it out is in our near future. Scarlett is sleeping for about four hours, three hours, two hours off and on.
Scarlett, I fall more in love with you everyday.
